NEW: EMLID Reach RX2, Reach RS4 & Reach RS4 Pro
Support for all RTK frequency bands & next-generation tilt compensation
The EU-based provider of geolocation solutions EMLID is launching a new generation of GNSS receivers with all-band RTK reception (L1/L2/L5/L6) across all satellite systems and improved tilt compensation (IMU): the EMLID Reach RX2, Reach RS4, and Reach RS4 Pro, the latter featuring augmented reality and camera functions.
The three receivers have been designed to deliver professional-grade precision with user-friendly operation and provide a scalable solution for teams and surveying professionals in construction, GIS, and other industries. Availability for the Reach RX2 is expected from late October 2025, and for the Reach RS4 Pro and Reach RS4 in December 2025.
EMLID Reach RS4 & Reach RS4 Pro
Powerful GNSS receivers for the future
The all-band RTK GNSS receivers Reach RS4 and RS4 Pro represent a significant advancement over previous models. They deliver uncompromising precision in all conditions and accelerate workflows like never before.
The Reach RS4 Pro also stands out with its innovative dual-camera technology, redefining traditional RTK, shortening survey times, and saving time when setting up total stations in hard-to-reach or hazardous areas.
Features of the RS4 & RS4 Pro
- All-band RTK reception (L1/L2/L5/L6) across all satellite systems for unmatched performance in urban canyons, dense tree canopies, and other challenging environments.
- Integrated antenna system with LTE and antenna diversity, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth for clean GNSS signals and stable positioning anywhere.
- Multi-band radio system up to 2 W, compatible with third-party devices for sending and receiving correction data, usable with both licensed and license-free bands at 450 MHz and 915 MHz – adaptable to project requirements and regulatory conditions.
- Next-gen IMU tilt compensation with up to five times faster initialization.
- Rugged construction with magnesium housing, IP68 protection, and replaceable bumpers to guard against drops.
- iPhone-certified (Apple MFI) for use with iOS apps, including Esri ArcGIS.
- Innovative quick-release clamp for survey poles, enabling precise and fast mounting, even when tilted. Compatible with standard 5/8" thread.
Building on the RS4 platform, the Reach RS4 Pro pushes boundaries with groundbreaking imaging technology. With two factory-calibrated full-HD cameras, it offers new features:
- AR staking: intuitive augmented-reality navigation for quick and easy orientation to points. Any geometry from the project can be projected in AR in the EMLID Flow app.
- Image-based measurements enable safe and fast capture of hard-to-reach points, such as on facades or in busy streets. Images taken directly from the camera are processed in EMLID Flow to deliver accurate coordinates.
