The GreenValley LiGrip O2 is a state-of-the-art, portable SLAM LiDAR 3D scanning system that integrates laser scanning, triple panoramic cameras, dual visual SLAM cameras, and a GNSS antenna in one device. This all-in-one system enables precise and comprehensive data acquisition in any environment and at any time of day without limitations. The GREENVALLEY LiGrip O2 is available in three variants: with 16 channels and a 120 m range, with 32 channels and a 120 m range, and with 32 channels and a 300 m range, differing in scan performance and measuring range to cover various application requirements. Thanks to the triple panoramic camera coverage, a complete 3D capture from different angles is possible, simplifying data acquisition and improving color accuracy as well as the quality of the 3D point clouds. The two visual SLAM cameras provide stable mapping even in areas with few distinctive features, such as tunnels or underground spaces. The device operates with a proprietary multi-sensor fusion SLAM technology that ensures an absolute positioning accuracy of under 3 cm and a repeatability of under 2 cm, regardless of operator, path, environment, or time. The output consists of highly detailed 3D point clouds with a point spacing density of 2 mm, comparable to terrestrial laser scanning. Several positioning modes are available to use the scanner flexibly in various work environments, including RTK-SLAM for areas with RTK signal, PPK-SLAM for environments without RTK signal, MLF-SLAM for open and low-feature environments, and SLAM for GNSS-denied environments. In addition to handheld use, various other carrying options with separately available accessories (backpack, frontpack, telescopic pole, vehicle or drone mounting) allow individual adaptation to the application scenario. The GreenValley LiGrip O2 Lite is a lightweight, portable SLAM LiDAR 3D scanner that utilizes MLF-SLAM technology (Multiple Localization Fusion-SLAM). This multi-sensor fusion positioning technology enables precise and reliable mapping even in low-feature and featureless environments such as airports, beaches, river areas, or other difficult-to-capture scenarios. The development of the MLF-SLAM algorithm represents a breakthrough, enabling high-precision mapping in weak or signal-free environments. The compact device weighs about 1.3 kg and offers an absolute accuracy of under 3 cm with high-resolution 3D point clouds precisely aligned horizontally and vertically according to surveying standards. The advanced combination of dual 12-megapixel panoramic cameras and two 1.3-megapixel VSLAM cameras ensures realistic, colored 3D real-time capture that can be directly exported and is suitable for applications such as earthwork calculation, individual tree segmentation, or topographic mapping. The fusion of visual SLAM and LiDAR SLAM depth data significantly improves mapping quality even in complex environments. As an integrated solution, the system enables simultaneous acquisition of multiple data types (3D point clouds, panoramic images, 3D Gaussian splatting, MESH) in one collection, overcoming the limitations of traditional sequential acquisitions. Data collection can be performed in various modes: handheld, backpack, frontpack, and telescopic pole, allowing optimal adaptation to different operational scenarios. The self-developed RTK-SLAM technology, combined with the telescopic pole, offers highly precise RTK data acquisition over the entire range with an accuracy of under 5 cm in just one minute, even without a GNSS signal. Software The supporting collection management software is compatible with Android and iOS platforms and offers features such as project management, real-time point cloud display, panoramic image viewing, and straightforward firmware updates, making the operation and processing of captured data efficient.
